Asking about a thriller, a show and a drama that I cannot figure out the title, my google-skills being too weak. Hope it is okay to post such a thread here.
1) the old thriller:
Now, by old, I mean like nineties or older, in color already. The story was about the police hunting for a murderer. The film switched back and forth between the police and a hitchhiker traveling with some man who picked him up, one of who is the murderer. The car the hitchhikers (white guy, unshaven but no proper beard I believe) enters is full of little pictures of women. The driver (black guy with a mustache definitely and maybe a cowboy hat and a green jacket) jokes about it, how he just throws them away when they bore him, casually flinging a photo out of the window. Then he claims he was joking, it isn't actually his car but that of a friend, still implying the driver as the murderer. Later on, at a restaurant, another guest has a medical emergency and the hitchhiker saves him, displaying some medical skills implying him in turn. I believe the film took place during winter, and the finale MIGHT have taken place on a train, but I am very unsure about this.
2) the new conspiracy show
Some show about a conspiracy in the modern day, I think the heroes might have been hackers. I saw one scene, possibly on tvtropes, an old white man, white-haired with a beard is meeting an Asian (Chinese I believe) man in a park, both wearing umbrellas negotiating something. The white man threatens the other, telling him that he is or might be at a point where he does not care anymore about winning, just that he is loosing. I believe I read his daughter was with the heroes in the show.
3) the obscure British drama
never saw so much of a clip of it, only read a review of it back in the nineties, an its-bitty tiny review that for some reason got stuck in my memory and which I haven't been able to vacate. It is about a girl, I guess eleven or twelve, rather plain, developing her first crush on the school's pretty-boy, who has absolutely no eyes for here. Instead, she catches the eye of the school rowdy, who threatens to rape her, but it instead, it ends with a shy kiss from him. A sort of friendship/romance develops between the two, but the rowdy soon has to get back to Juvie (juvenile prison in Britain).
