I found Deus Ex boring.
I think Metal Gear Solid's storyline is the least interesting part of the game.
I don't think Halo is overrated.
I've never finished a Zelda, Mario or Metroid game.
I once caught all 150 pokemon back in the day.
I'll do you one better with the pokemon I used to know all the names and weaknesses of all of them and still dont know why I do lol

I got MGS2 for Christmas a few years ago and it never made it out of the plastic wrapper. It was traded in to fund other games that I actually wanted a few months later. The Metal Gear series has never and probably will never hold any interest for me. I don't like the game play and the story is too bananas and confusing for me to care about it.

When I told my friends this they nearly shat bricks and thought I was totally mental.
Part of me died reading this.

So did I. Actually I have a cobalt flux pad in my apartment right now =X

I recently met a genuinely "hot" chic that is MORE into gaming than I am... imagine my surprise. Beware, my friends, of that devastating combination because now I must confess that I find it difficult to rationalize hanging out with any of my other friends.... ever.
LOL Good game.

Um. I started half life p2, finished portal and haven't played tf2.
This is my "fail" if you will *sigh*

I have obsessively played into the small hours of the morning, once for over 24 hours straight, just to unlock some useless awards in several different games.

I love sports, am good at them and absolutely detest sports games.

I dislike guns and handguns in particular but adore FPS games.

I cannot aim at all. I'm always running out of ammo in FPS games, but I still enjoy them.

I used to be a huge FF fanboy

I thoroughly enjoyed Yoshi's Story, music and all.

I always explore every little bit of possible terrain in all the games i get, you never know what you could find!

I have never beaten the first game i've ever played; Rayman.

I find the MGS storyline very simple and easy to understand, with some exceptions.

I have never completed a single LoZ game always being stuck in one part that me and my friends call "Legend of Zelda Moments", Twilight Princess can go bury itself in that desert place.

I find SSBM better than SSBB.

I always turn the volume on my TV down when playing a horror game or a horror section in a game (yeah, i know, I'm a pussy.)

I'm fairly certain the first time I saw "porn" was in a Leisure Suit Larry game.

No wonder I'm a gaming addict now huh?

Forgot to mention one - I LOVE sports games. It's totally pathetic, but EA has me buying their franchises year after year. *Sigh*, I've already set aside the $60 I need to buy Madden 09 with.

Couldn't beat the first boss of Final Fantasy 7 after about three times, turned off the game and it is now nice and dusty on my shelf. Ever time I hear the song "I Can't Decide" that crappy game comes to mind.

Ok, here goes, I hated all the Metal Gear Solid games, couldn't get into Thief, never found a moment of fun in stealth games, I just cant understand where the fun is in staring at a screen waiting. It seems like just waiting, doing nothing, is 90% of the gameplay in stealth games.

(oh but that's not it)

But I loved Manhunt, thoroughly enjoyed it, even when it when all gun crazy near the end.
I'm 35, too, and still found twisting a crowbar around in someone's skull amusing.

Resident Evil 4 was good-to-great until the moment you leave the village, whereupon it becomes walk-cutscene-shoot-bossfight-repeat.

Hammering the guy in the red skeleton top in GTAIV whenever I spot him as I fly past with everything I've got regardless of the likely police-related repercussions simply because I feel I must make him feel special for being generated in a crowd so rarely.

MGS2 was short, weak and (due to Raiden's campyuberannoyingness) infinitely frustrating. What kind of stealth game gives you near endless ammo for the all-purpose tranq gun and make your footsteps inaudible so that one can run and kartwheel behind enemies without fear of being rumbled. The gaming incarnation of a retarded cockroach dressed in sam fisher's leather-thing.

I thought Mass Effect and Bioshock were mediocre.

Every time I see a fat person or an old lady in GTA IV, I have to knock them on the ground and stand on them.

I only beat the Devil on Expert because of lucky power-ups.

I think Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is the best Sonic game.

Most of my fighting game knowledge is "vertical attack," "horizontal attack," "kick," "jump," and "block." I've never memorized a single combo. Well, except for v\>+punch, but...

Street Fighter has never really appealed to me.

I've never played Contra or Zero Wing.

I think anyone who brags about having "problem solving" elements in their games just because there are two items you can put together deserves to be punched in the head. One "puzzle" over and over does not a complex game make.

I hate Final Fantasy.

Compared to most, I'm completely mediocre at every game I play. Be it an RPG where my stats aren't as high as they could have been, or an FPS where I can't aim very well.

I would never have been able to beat OoT or TP without a strategy guide.

I can't beat ALttP, even with a strategy guide.

Those are the only three Zelda games I've played, and I only played and finished OoT for the first time a few days ago.

The only Metroid game I've played is Hunters.

I've never owned an N64.

I cheated to get my surfing Pikachu in Gold.

I always pick up every item an enemy drops, even if my inventory/ammo/health is full, because I don't want it to go to waste.

Wow, Shadow Tyrant-man, that's an uber-confession right there. I feel oblidged to try and compete.....

In Warhawk, I always use the tank first thing, because I'm no good at the sneaky-sneaky.
I doubted that GTAIV would deliver.

San Andreas' gangsta theme drove me nuts.

MGS2 was over-hyped and Raiden may be the most consistently annoying protaganist ever.

For a while, I thought Jedi Academy was the best game ever. Ow...

Resident Evil 5 looks just like 4, only more controversy-stirring.

If GTA5 is set in Vice City or San Andreas, I will kill something (no more revisiting places!)

Oblivion made me want to be a vampire.

Oni may be the worst PS2 game ever.

Garry's Mod is the best game ever on any format.

That's only shameful if you mean Super Mario Bros 1 era Peach. Modern Peach? I totally would. Or Daisy, I'm not too picky.

You just know there's someone who's got the hots for Pac-man. Odd people online, eh? Marmite Cornflakes on toast are a great compliment to eel soup.
