I think I might be going with the Dalmation. I was hoping they would have a more generic black dog to match mine, but no dice. Dalmation is pretty cool looking though.
Yeah, I saw that it was cheaper, which is good. I hate when games throw on a 10-20 buck pricetag for expansions when in reality, it's not worth that. Knothole Island wasn't that good, but hopefully, like everyone is saying, this one will be better. The achievements look promising too.
I hate that too, that's why I didn't get the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3.
I thought that I was finished with the DLC, but I wasn't - it still has more quests.
I've downloaded it and played it, I got to admit I was pretty disapointed.
The end result of looking into future was very unsatisfying for me.
Basically, You become the king/queen of Albion, you rule over it either fairly, or cruely and you have a child to conitinue the bloodline, not something that was at all hard to guess. Thank you Lionhead, it was enlightening
Only story wise was it disapointing, which is a shame because the story was meant to be the main focus, but I found the content more interesting.
Such as re-visiting the slightly new Oakvale, gaining the funny little costumes, and of course the new collesseum, Murgo's wares also being a welcome addition.
I never really understood why he was eleminated from the story after you got the music box, Especialyl since his legacy seemed to live on.
Overall, I'll rate it higher than Knothole Island, but only because Knothole Island was basically just people paying for side quests and new, easier to obtain, legendary weapons.
So yes, as it is, it's not bad, but it's not in anyway what we were led to believe it would true to Lionhead style.
I'm looking forward to the new arena, but people are saying you can get most, if not all, of the good rewards in one sitting. I really hope that's not the case.
Much better value than Knothole Island. I think the new DLC is great, I loved the snowglobe quest, skull quest was fun with the new costumes and the collosseum adds lots of extra playtime. It's quite difficult but you can just spam the time control which lets you rack up insane scores.
