Maybe it's just the time of year with Halloween approaching, but ever since I first read about the Slender Man the other night, I've found myself increasingly interested in the whole concept while at the same time completely terrified that I'm going to walk by my blinds next to the front door in the middle of the night and see the silhouette of a tall, bald person just standing there just staring into my apartment...

Thoughts? In particular, am I the only one who's genuinely freaked out by this even though it's obviously a made up story?
At the very least, I'd hope that a handful of people haven't seen this yet and have a hard time sleeping tonight
