Sega Master System Games to Appear on Nintendo Service

If you can't beat them, join them - 20 years down the line.

Nintendo's Virtual Console download service will soon host titles from the Sega Master System, an 8-bit predecessor to the 16-bit European Mega Drive, known in the U.S. as the Genesis.

The games will first show up in Japan and distribution will then hit Europe and the U.S. The first titles in Japan will be Fist of the North Star and Fantasy Zone.

At some indeterminate point, Game Gear and Mark III games will join the Master System games.

They should so do Gangster Town with Wii remote controls. That game owned so hard. It was a side-scrolling rail shooter where you could shoot gangsters, then their souls would fly up to heaven. Then you could shoot their souls and they would fall back down.

Cloud Master, Shinobi, Spellcaster, Choplifter, After Burner, and The Ninja are worthy of mention as well.
