I suppose I need to amend my statement. What I meant to say was that in Sonic 2, 3 & Knuckles on the Genesis had near-instantaneous acceleration after releasing down when building up a Speed dash. Sonic Rush has a physics engine that takes issue with that idea, so the only way you can hope to get up to speed is by chaining vast lengths of downward-inclined rails and speed-booster pods.Dr. Wily III said:

It's about FUCKING TIME!!!! I guess Capcom's success with Mega Man 9 and the fact that fans have been wanting this for almost 10 YEARS was enough to get Sega's butt in gear! Sonic 2 and 3 were my favorite games of my that console generation, so I hope that don't screw it up!
Three times out of many. I'm just afraid that the game won't survive the need for modernization, because they can't make a game exactly like the 90's ones, but that was great part of it's charm. Nowadays, if it's overly simple like it used to be, people will complain it's more of the same and dull by today's standards.Plurralbles said:

Not saying i didnt enjoy S&N, Believe me i did. I consider it nearly a perfect game (the only thing that annoys me was knuckles story could of been as long as sonics). Im just saying that Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 are fucking awesome.
