An interesting article, good stuff to know. I was hoping for more info on their design philosophy, but hey.
And as for not knowing about Croatia, I know what it is and where it is. Not that esoteric of a country. After all, their soccer team did really well in the world cup.

That was in 1998 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia_national_football_team#World_Cup_record]. I think in 1998 most Americans hardly even knew the World Cup exists. I expect they still hardly know Croatia exists except, perhaps, as a former Balkan warzone.
