It's Serious Sam 3 launch day and that can only mean one thing: a Serious Sam 3 launch video!

But in case you've somehow managed to miss the point, allow me to take one more crack at it with the launch trailer that hit the tubes today to mark the release of Serious Sam 3: BFE.

It's interesting that this latest and last pre-release trailer makes Serious Sam 3 look a lot more story-intensive than previous games. I say that entirely without irony; plots in previous Serious Sam games pretty much amounted to "OH GOD HERE THEY COME" so the fact that there's another character and some actual dialog [as opposed to the occasional cheesy one-liners] is quite a change and entirely unexpected.

Gameplay appears to be more or less unchanged, though: violent, bloody and fast-paced enough to cause injuries, and that's what we're here for. I'm downloading as we speak and can't wait to sprain everything below my shoulders on both arms with it. Serious Sam 3: BFE is available now on Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/41070/].

Honestly I am very excited about this and have very high hopes. You know what would be cool? Serious Sam 3 promo item(s) for TF2. I mean, how cool would a bomb logo badge look on the demoman?

The game is VERY awesome. They basically preserved everything that made the originals great while fusing it with certain modern game elements. Appropriately old school, without the old feel. Great one liners too.

got it, played few hours already. the beginning starts lame, hardly any enemies but later on you sure get more. some nice boss fights, big areas and lots of secrets to discover. so far i have missed a lot of them. must be really well hidden. i looked in every corner but i still seam to miss them. lol

but i miss the humor like i know it from part 2. still funny when sam gives his comments and remarks but he doesnt make this stupid impression as we know it from part 2. the enemies handle some bullets before they die, even with the shotgun at close range surprisingly.
also that you have to reload the weapons is something im not fond of either in a SS game. but well, still many weapons i have to get.

otherwise, im enjoying it so far. so yes, get it. its still fun. for sure better then this awful DNF.
