Afraid you're gonna need to make the example a little more specific. Everyone knows there is sexism in games, they just have different opinions about it. Also, what GeeseH said.

Considering the flammability of topic, yes?

This topic is like cardboard furniture: Seems like a good idea, until it goes up in flames.

no lara croft dresses like that because its the most practical clothing for an archeaologist/explorer and dead or alive volleyball is entirely true of how most women would want to be viewed

Whatever I didn't say here, I said further down in the thread, a thread which you might want to read from top to bottom if you are actually interested in the topic of what people think about sexism around here.

Games in general are sexist, and probaby movies and comics too. I don't worry about that so much as I worry about writers being complete morons. For example, I don't mind sexism in GTA, because the world that it depicts, the criminal world, is (in all probability :p) more sexist than society in general. Political correctness has no place in storytelling.

However, the more sexist a game is the dumber the story is usually. : P

Could be that lolcat posters attract the common troll/general internet dumbass. Maybe they've got some pheromone thing down. I propose dissection, for science [http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=193].

yep, there's sexism in games. But most of the time it balances out by being equally sexist in its vision of both men and women.

I'm cool with that.

Well it would be....

I suppose there is going to be sexism in games when a large amount of the audience is under 15. I still don't understand why fighting games have half naked buff guys when the majority of the players go for the person with the biggest breasts.

I always wondered what what the effects of tying sex and violence together have. (See Dead or Alive or Soul Caliber)Seeing a parody of an attractive person is one thing but having them repeatedly get injured is another.
