This is an old series, actually. You can view the whole thing on one of Shamus's websites right now, if you cared to.

Anyway. Snow. What a cunning plan. A demon has decided to unleash his fury and get Canada's snow all cold. This ranks right up there with attacking Florida by making it really muggy in August, or inflicting dire traffic congestion on L.A. You'd think that step one of bedeviling a land would be in choosing a target that will notice. If this demon had any sense he'd be snowing on people who don't have parkas, plowing equipment, and hot cocoa.
Are you taking Malygris's sarcasm lessons too seriously Shamus?

But yeah, again...patchwork...
"can I go back to the earlier levels?"
"NO"
"Why not?"
"Because it's under alien invasion."
"I thought I just beat that and had the parade. In fact, all the other heroes out here are telling me they had the parade as well."
"...yeah...well...LOOK OVER THERE!"

(SAFETY WARNING: That link to "Mighty Whitey" a couple of pages back is a link to TV Tropes. Be careful not to click on it if you don't have the time to spare. )
Damn you! I didn't see the warning until after I clicked! The quicksand is pulling me under, I've got ten tabs open and I'll never get free!

...

Oh, hey, someone made a level editor for Eversion!

...

That "nothing" picture is creepy.

...

..

.

Damn you!

Pardon the double post, I don't want to ruin the effect I was going for on the TV Tropes one.

You do realize you'll have to wait MONTHS instead of a week for the hope of anything new, right?

(Awaits the Big No.)

"No! Honest! The weather is usually not like this at all! Canada is a wonderful place to visit! It's usually five or six degrees above zero this early in August!"
The fact that I'm in Canada (in the northernmost major city, no less) and it's early August just makes this hilarious.

Why are you still at it with this old stuff? I'd very much appreciate it if you would do something new.

The warning for the TV Tropes would have been much more helpful had it been NEXT TO THE LINK.

Ah well, there goes 3 hours of my life.

I previously read the whole series on your site, Shamus, and I must say it's too hilarious. I've lol'd far too much at work because of it... my co-workers gave me funny looks. Why can't you just make moderately funny stuff so I can keep my laughter internal? WHY???

i played champions for a very long time... and i had great fun with it... until the well ran dry...

you can play the game, once-maybe-twice through and thats great... you design some characters and work on some strategies for powers for them and everything... but then it comes to playing that 3rd, 4th, 5th... 10th character... and its so bland no matter what you do with them...

this game is very samey, and has barely any endgame gameplay... and its really fun! :D

Shamus, is it? your character looks like you spent roughly 9 seconds making him... if i still played that game and happened upon ye... id cringe at the sight of such a default outfit... but at least you didnt make iron man...

I live in the hope that Shamus is secretly prepping a WoW series along these lines. Well, at least we all know he's playing WoW while this one runs, anyway.....

Seriously, Canada, being snowed under? NO, REALLY? What is it with the whole "Canada is cold and snowy" stereotype, huh? I mean, it's early August, 25*C, and it's muggy as hell. Seriously, it's...wait, it's started raining...

THIS IS NO ORDINARY STORM!!!

You should have seen some of the other characters Shamus made. Star on chest was obviously designed based on the golden age of comics, and as such his costume is intentionally very basic. Its part of his charm, he is supposed to be like Superman, but he is also a big sellout that is afraid of things.

Speaking of cold, I have to admire Star on Chest's power to not have shrinkage in that weather while wearing spandex.
