Shiiiiiiit, I need help...

Ok so my parents are out in Milan(sp?) for a couple of days and my sister had to leave early to go to work, so I've been left to wake myself up till Friday, ofcourse I wouldn't be typing this if I wasn't still at home. It's 8.30...

I've never,ever missed school before "just 'coz" and my parents are going to throw the worlds biggest fit at me when they get back. I have a few options here:

Hide it from School 'til Monday, to give myself some time.(We bring in notes so I can just say my parents are out till next week)
Try my hand at forgery of note and signature(Crappy handwriting),
Be truthful (Yeah right),
Fall back asleep and pretend today never happened (Not really the optimal choice),
Try and explain to my sister who will side with me if she is feeling nice and write me a note (technically she is my caregiver and is 18 in all of two weeks) or call Mum and Dad straight away.

Sorry for such an odd topic but I'm really in the shithouse, I can already see my parents somehow linking sleeping in to games and then banning me for a week.

So the sneaky side of the escapist, I need your help.

(On that note would it be morally wrong for me to go raid the fridge like is normal practice on a sick day?)

The problem isn't lying to school, that's easy I once told them my cat peed on my resource book and that's why I didn't have it with me. The problem is my parents.

So you were feeling ill this morning and later you'll start to feel better. You can fake that right?

Break your alarm clock and blame being late for the clock breaking in the night.

Having to pay for an alarm clock will be an excellent reminder to use one in future. Also to get your parents mellowed out just print off a bunch of science and maths aticles from the internet and when they get back tell them that you spent your time at home working on assignments.

Once youhave this down you just have to work on your poker face and you'll be set until college/uni.

It'll work on your parents, just make sure when they come home you look/act like you feel like shit. Get your sister to corroborate, saying you started throwing up and have been vomiting since. Be nice to your sister and you will be fine. They can't say "It's obvious you weren't sick" they've got no proof, and if you act reasonably sick (spend the day after they get back still in bed) you will probably be fine.

Yeah, telling the truth is the best option, I mean heck, we all oversleep, I went to bed once to get up for an 8:30AM class. When I actually woke up it was 1:30PM. It happens, especially since you have the excuse on not having to actually wake yourself up before.

Play the Pity Card. Tell them the reason you overslept was that your sleep was marred by nightmares where you're being eaten/tortured by some person or monster, and that you were calling out "Mom! Dad!" but they did not come.

i don't know about your school, but at ours if you throw up you arn't actually allowed to go back to school that day, and for another 24hours since when you had the accident.
