Like every gamer (hopefully), I like a game where the world visibly reacts to my game-style and decisions. But I also like to go the extra mile and let the game know how I feel about it, whether it's affection to a NPC by ensuring his/her survival or spite by and teabagging a dead corpse. However, most games I play don't let me show these emotions in a satisfactory manner; I often have to make something up within the confines of other actions. I frequently wish my games came with some kind emote-system.
For example, I'd really like for fighting games (i.e. SCIV) to let players control the after-battle banter of their characters.
Escapists, do you also feel that body language speaks louder and truer than vocal language, even in video games?
