I always though it was an affection loaded gag but like I said, crazy fanboys be crazy immature fanboys.
ah fair enough, i was never a fan of hers but thats one of the few songs I heard and I found it fairly amusing.

I think Yahtzee needs the piss taken more for two reasons. 1) Parody, when done well is the highestform of flattery and funniest form of comedy (in my opinion) and 2) Yahtzee clearly absorbs negative emotion through an additional orifice most people don't have and draws power from it.
I agree. I think that's why he seems to be becoming "softer" these days. Too many people loved him and had nothing but good things to say about him and his show. Without enough negativity he is wilting and losing power.
Or we can blame the guv'ment.

I had actually forgotten all about it, and couldn't remember the name until I checked out the videos section, but I quite miss Tales from the Table.

Not technically disappeared, as the videos are still available it seems, but it was one of the shows on the Escapist that I - and my gaming group - really enjoyed watching.

As for Yahtzee, I can't say I agree with the sentiment of ZP going stale - each episode still draws, at the very least, an amused chuckle out of me, and that's more than most web series can manage.

I think, however, that I'd quite like to see Yahtzee do some sort of video collaboration with Jim Sterling, maybe something once a month or so (given the geographic distance between them), as I thought they really jived well together during the Hour of Love (and a few other panels) during the Escapist Expo.
A sort of ZP/Jimquisition mashup video piece would, I have to assume, be the equivalent of an egg of pure comedic gold shat from the arse of a surprisingly informative goose with the stunning charisma of a young Zaphod Beeblebrox, from whence a chubby, bespectacled, foul mouthed, British-accented, gosling might spring forth.

I will add another to the list though: Space Janitors. I miss that show
Good news! It's on Geek and Sundry (Felicia Day's channel/network/thing) on YouTube now, and they've finished shooting season two. I forget when they said new episodes will be going up, but I want to say it'll be this spring for some reason.

Nobody has mentioned Game Dogs yet? Shame on you all.

It wasn't so much a mysterious vanish but personally I liked Apocalypse Lane the most, but the way it ended did make sense.

Who was that woman the Escapist contracted because they thought vacuous girls with nice breasts but nothing of interest to say would generate hits if they were allowed to make pointless lists?
Wasn't it Lisa Foiles?

Massive low point for their shows. A list article is cheap. A video on a list article is silly. A video on a list article written plainly, without style, or insight, by someone who's insight is not valued, but is excitable and attractive, is terrible. I'm glad that one went the way of the dodo.

OT: I'm really hoping Doraleous and Associates comes back, I'd just started watching when they went on hiatus.

Lisa's top 5 wasn't too bad, I usually caught them after I'd seen Extra Credits and ZP's. I still love ZP, never got stale to me, I just like to hold off a bit and play the game first before I can relate with what he's grinding each game about. Did spoil one game for me as well (the ending of Resistance 2) which is kind of part of the intro of Resistance 3 so I guess that's why he didn't think of it as a spoiler. Anyways...

I even miss Daily Drop, even though that was less of a 'show' and more of a minute long glorious slo-mo of things [sometimes] smashing on the ground from a great height. Was great fun while it lasted though! Think it was the LRR crew..

Extra Credits left due to financial disputes.
Doraleous went on hiatus while John Etheridge did a side project, and their contract lapsed, or something similar.
The ones that made me the saddest were the loss of De-Rez, and Unforgotten Realms. (Half of you probably won't know what those are, damn kids!)
There are a few that still remember...

I still miss Unforgotten Realms. It was an absolutely fantastic series. The creator had so many various troubles, it's such a shame.

That's where Unforgotten Realms is now.
Though there's a lot of time in between episodes.
Also, the creator is working on a game based on the show.
