What shows do you wish weren't cancelled? Two of my favorite shows, The Event and V, have recently bitten the dust.

To get the obvious out of the way, Firefly.

Also: Rome. One of the best TV series that I've seen; the acting and writing were all fantastic, and it had terrific production values courtesy of HBO. Sadly, the ratings weren't good enough to justify the expense and it was cancelled after 2 seasons. A real shame.

And now for a pre-emptive one. I'm rather worried that Game of Thrones will go the same way Rome did, and really hope that I'll be proved wrong. It's just so good; I'll be extremely happy if all seven books get adapted (when they're finished, anyway).

Arrested Development, I only heard about it late, seems marketing wasn't that good, but it's sad because it's really funny, but you can sense how it's being rushed towards the end.

Awww... thanks for the love, man. And my vote goes to "Frisky Dingo". That show was amazing.

Damn. Beat me to it. Seriously, that was probably one of the best-written single seasons ever. At least we got Serenity.

Only heard about it about 2 month's back when it came on FX really good shame to hear it had such a limited run. Also Better off ted, not sure what the general opinion of this is but I really liked it.

Now for the odd one Stargate: Universe. Not popular but I liked it, I thought it was a nice change of pace from the old one's.

Heroes. Although it fell apart towards the end, I would have liked a proper conclusion.

Been bet to the punch already, but Firefly is one.

Another is New Amsterdam. It was finally getting interesting when they cancelled it, even if I did not like the woman he was falling for.

I have to add my vote for Firefly obviously.
I would have to go with Stargate Atlantis. It was not as good as the first 8 seasons of SG1 but it was entertaining. And it was cancelled while it still had a load of plot points to wrap up in order to make room for stargate universe and look how well that turned out.

I think what pissed me of the most about that was the guys who make stargate were told they could have one more series of Atlantis and the first series of universe or two series of universe. When super nerds such as myself said that we did not want a crap Battlestar galactica ripoff we were told to go fuck are selves as universe would be so epic that it would have millions of new fans. Then when the show tanked because it was boring and nothing ever happened Brad wright (one of the creators) said in an interview that SG1 and Atlantis fans had hurt the show. That it was are fault that nobody was watching. What, were we going round to peoples houses and forcing them not to watch? Wait Brad, why did you need us? I thought that your show was going to be so epic that you did not need us. You fucking douche bag.

Mission Hill, that show was way too smart for it's own good. It was on the WB and was the lead in for shows like The Steve Harvey Show and it was marketed horribly and only two episodes aired. At least it got a great run on Adult Swim, but Mission Hill could have been sooooooo much better if it was given a proper network.

Flash Forward. Had a great premise, changed front runner too many times. The cliffhanger ending screwed with me.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

One of the best shows ever, senselessly murdered by death slot scheduling. I watched the whole thing 5 times in 2 years.

I really don't watch a lot of TV, but I watched the first season and loved it. I read it got cancelled and I never even knew they were on season three.
