Had some kind of flu, didn't move for a solid two weeks. Two bites of toast would feel me up, I hacked up bottles full of mucous and blood(coughed my throat raw), and lost 25 pounds. Wasn't too fun, I have an immunity system of an ox, but when I go down, I go down hard.

2 years ago i caught a bad stomach flu. It was so bad that i lost 8lbs in a matter of 36 hours. my roommates tried to convince me to go to the hospital but i refused. I knew it would go away withing time but christ it looked and felt like i was on my death bed.

It's a toss up between when I was in primary school and the stress of being teased caused me to either:

A. Vomit at least once a day
B. Spend a day in sick bay with a migraine
C. Spend a week getting over stomach and throat ulcers

Coming down with a viral infection at work, suffer from fevers that lead to headaches that lead to vomiting. I don't recommend driving double-visioned either, it's scary.

I had mono and barely had the energy to move, I couldn't eat or drink(much) because my throat was so sore and closed, in the end I wound up worring a doctor and my family, I had quite a few people saying "you looked like death".

Last summer I had strep throat and I let it get so bad I could barely talk cause it hurt so much. I'm pretty lucky actually, I hardly ever get vomity sick. I get a lot of throat/lung related illnesses though. About once I year I get strep throat (I have no idea how it keeps happening!) and one time I had bronchitis and laryngitis at the same time. That was a ***** and a half to deal with.

As an infant, I was in the hospital for three days with pneumonia and came extremely close to dieing, though I had no idea what was happening at the time.

wow.
i was in horrible shape a few days ago.
i had broncitis.
my voice was hoarse
i vomited more than a Boomer and a drunk person during Happy Hour.
and i was so weak i couldn't make the strength to walk literally 6 feet to my computer.
so i just spent my entire 12 days playing Left 4 Dead, which remained un-opened until that occasion.

I had a lesion of the vestibulocerebellum caused by chickenpox. Basically made me move, talk, puke and feel like I was uncomfortably drunk for 2 straight weeks. I also had painful headaches and high fever with some hallucinations, especially the first few days. About 5 days into my illness my esophagus closed up and made eating anything extremely painful. the next 3 days I only drank sips of water and sucked on candy for nourishment. I also couldn't swallow my spit (because it was so thick and full of slime), so I had to spit in a cup.
Edit: And chickenpox is itchy :(

This one time i had a really bad flu.

I went to go vomit, but crapped myself during this process :(
This happened twice. In the same day. Before I realized that I could poop in the toilet and vomit in a trash can at the same time.

I had Mersa(I suggest not googling that if you don't have a strong stomach) on my inner thigh and on my back close to my right side armpit. I hadn't gotten to the doctor soon enough to stop the growing to prevent it from bleeding to the point it looked like I was having a period.I belive it was for a two week period or so, and if it had gotten into my blood steam it could have killed me.

I've had swine flu. I've had the mumps. That's about it. Oh, I contracted jaundice shortly after birth.

As a little kid, I once hit my head and because of crappy medical care in Bulgaria I nearly caught meningitis and might've died. My parents aborted our holidays and brought me back to Germany, where they removed all the pus, cleaned up the wound and sutured it anew.

the day after i got it, i had to change underwear 5-6 times. dont ask...

I think the night I suddenly caught the flu would be the top on my list. I started feeling the effects within 20 minutes, and it was gone in less than a day.

Also, I have a bad habit of getting ear infections, and they drive me insane.

I had a virus which caused me to throw up anything I ate or drank, giving me severe dehydration in the space of a day (it also gave me very nasty dirrhea, another sure fire cause of dehydration). I was taken to the doctors and he suspected I might have had meningitis due to a few other things like a massive headache and photophobia, so I was rushed straight to emergency and admitted very quickly and had 3 lites of saline put back into me and an anti-migraine drug as well which worked. Luckily it did, because the next step was a Lumbar Puncture which would have killed.
sounds alot like a really bad Roskilde Sickness. ive had that too.

mine went away by itself, and i didnt have headaches and photophobia (which i actually dont know what means), but ill give some tips about it:

1. drink cola and eat chips (seriously, trust me, its the only thing your body wont throw up).
2. stay in the couch or in your bed. preferably somewhere close to the crapper and with a bowl next to you (for the vomit). also, close to the TV (boredom is impossible).
3. dont go out saying "im alright, i feel fresher", wait untill you feel tip-top.

thats what i did.
