Skullgirls Creator, Alex Ahad, Have a new Project?

Alex Ahad is the main artist and creator of the well know fighting game Skullgirls.

After a search I did it seems Alex Ahad have started to draw something unrelated from Skullgirls games. The main character seems to be a insect/human superhero.

So, what do you believe Alex Ahad will do with these new characters? A new game, comic series, something else?

Although it seems like this could be another fighting game, I doubt that it would either be released anytime soon or have anything to do with Skullgirls (as the Kickstarter project they are working on is for some much desired DLC).

My guess is that this is probably the development stages/concept art for a future fighting game or an action/platform title. It is very interesting to say the least and here's hoping that we get some official news about it in the near future.

Well they are currently releasing screen shots of secret characters during their Indiegogo project. I'd assume based upon the images alone that perhaps these are concepts for them.

Or is there a source suggesting that they are definitely not?

Actually, I already know that these character don't have to do with the game Skullgirls.
All the remaining characters are already known exept one I think.

Anyway I've seen those artworks from his tumblr, I always thought they were somehow Skullgirl related fighters characters. Other than that I have no idea as it can be anything well to me it's most likely to be another game at most.

It is very nice artwork though and I did like "Skullgirls", so I shall keep an eye on this project.

Well, it is not an official project, but for the artist writing it is have nothing to do with the game, I think it is a "hint" for something...

Interesting. I kinda like some of the character designs.

We'll just have to wait and see what Alex plans to do with this stuff. If he plans to do anything with it.

And for some reason, I can't help but think that one girl with the bangs looks like Morrigan without the bat wings.
