So, anime characters broke into the real world and start slaughtering people.

People are dying from the powers of the many characters, and the heightened abilities are laying waste to the entire worlds military. From the looks of it, your town/city/where-ever is going to be next hit by them.

HOWEVER, in an odd twist, you are approached by an *insert Deus Ex Machina Granter here* who offers you the choice of gaining the abilities skills, knowledge and weapons of any Anime character you want, whether the series itself has ended or not. Yet, you are only confined to having that one characters abilities, skills, knowledge and weapons, meaning you are unable to gain anything else.

So, the question is, who's abilities would you choose to have?

Personally, without a second choice, I'm going with Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate:

Actually, not really having seen too many anime, I'd probably go with the space battleship Yamato, an old one I stumbled across while researching a history project on the actual Yamato. It and Black Lagoon are the only two I really know of, outside of the various incarnations of Pokemon.

As much as I hate bleach, I have to agree. His power is so fucking cheap, its perfect for stopping such an invasion. That is unless they decide to allow him to die by some obvious flaw... but I havent really watched that much of the show after a while, just felt that it suffered from DBZ syndrome (when one enemy of unimaginable power is finally defeated, another one even more powerful takes his/her place.)

The OVAs are god-fucking-awful, and only cover the first have of act 1 anyway, so avoid that if you do get into it. Just read the manga instead. It's infinitely better. After act 1, it's an amazing series. The first act just focused too much on the comedy, but the rest of it is more on the action with comedy still being a big part of the dialogue.

Iv heard that the OVA was awful.
Makes me feel good that i usually prefer the Manga of most Anime.
But it sounds like a series ill enjoy.
