well, i got my tax refund comming soon, its going to be around 428 bucks if i did my math right. i need to get ideas what to spend 300 bucks on, and before anyone asks, im using the other 100$ to buy some gifts for my girlfriend.

Im thinking of first buying an Ipod since im the only person i know of that does not have an mp3, so anyway, what should i get in the terms of gaming? i own a 360, a ps2, and thinking about replacing my DS

Buy enough jelly crystals to fill half a pool, add water, let it chill over night then swim in the morning!

Personally i'd never buy an Ipod/Mp3 player nowadays, just due to the fact that for me phones serve the music playing purpose

300 bucks can get you a pretty decent phone with good internal memory and Mp3 playing capabilities..

Plus i always have my phone with me, whereas i wouldn't with an mp3..

Aliens vs Predator (the new one). Maybe spend the rest on this 'girlfriend'.

An iPod is nice but you might want to get some flowers as well if she isn't allergic to them. It will make the presentation more memorable and special. That's my two-cents worth.

If you want game suggestions, tell us what system(s) she/you have and what games she owns or liked previously. That would help others to narrow down the choices. :)

Thats a good idea, and i would like to spend more on her, but she wont let me, she wants me to spend more moeny on myself, which i find really sweet.

You could like.... save it, or something. Having extra money in the bank is always nice. If that's not your cup of tea, then I really can't say what games you should get. I know that I'm getting Bioshock 2 and Bayonetta in 4 days, so maybe you should look into one of those.

Spelling is important. I can forgive poor spelling in a post, but in a thread title? More thought is required.

Because the internet cares what I have to say.

Buy Bioshock 2, and Bioshock 1 if you haven't played.
If you don't tear up in the good endings then sorry you have no soul.

As for Bayonetta, if you've played Devil May Cry 4 and thought "hey Nero should have a cleavage and go naked with cut scenes and quick time events" then go for it.

I propose Bioshock 2 and/or Battlefield: Bad Company 2
As for the rest... I don't know, save it and spend it on one or more of the many games coming out later this year? Halo: Reach, Brink and Fallout: New Vegas are good candidates.

Bioshock 1 is good and Bioshock 2 looks even better. I have a weak spot for underwater settings and the blue/green backdrop is a nice change of pace from all the blood and fire shades of most games. It's good for a shooter-styled game. If she likes RPG's try Dragon Age. It is good and the banter is witty. You can lose yourself in it for a lot of hours.

Just change it into 1 dollar coins and then dive into them.
You won't ever forget, and it's good for views on youtube! (I've watched it)
