Yeah, I like how the two factions are not just Alliance = Good, Horde = Bad. They both have areas of Good, Bad and grey areas. Well, they do more so if you have actually played the warcraft games beforehand. Funnily enough I always consider The Horde are closer to good then the Alliance are considering the hassle they go through and how many times the alliance races have doomed the world again and again.ThaBenMan said:The Undead are really interesting, as well - the rest of the Horde aren't really "evil", but the Forsaken definitely are. They'll turn on the Orcs and everyone else once their allegiance is no longer convenient. I love the Undead towns like Brill - horrific mockeries of proper human settlements, with inns full of coffins and stables of skeleton horses, that would be terrifying to a normal person that stumbled upon them. Kind of fucked up, but cool, too.
But yeah, I played WoW for about 2.5 years. Started a few months before Burning Crusade came out, left sometime close to Arthas being a raid. Had my level eighty druid and warlock. Also had one of every class above level sixty, though some had no profession skills and were just power leveling up.
Mainly played PvP, never got into raiding. Just takes way to much time and is to demanding. PvP is simple, "Hey look, you are in this battleground with tonnes of enemies over there. GET THEM!"
I had some good stuff on my druid too. Dragon flying mounts, lots of rare pets and little gadgets from special events. Very tempting to pick it back up though probably won't until I move place. No point having a game that mandates internet connection when I will be without it for a few weeks/months. One day though.
Note: (Depending if they haven't changed the talent trees to much since I last played) Affliction is the level up spec for Warlocks. Demonology is good end game for PvP, Destruction is good for raids but Affliction is great for leveling/soloing. No downtime and no risk.
