Back in high school, I contracted conjunctivitis and it sucked. Then I went to the Doctor, he diagnosed it as a bacterial infection (Conjunctivitis comes in many different flavors with their own treatments, you see), gave me eyedrops, and it cleared up in a week.
Fast forward to present day, and I've been infected. Again. And it still sucks. But this time, I don't have a ton of money at the moment and no insurance ('cause I can't afford it). It's still in the beginning stages (Just started showing symptoms about five hours ago), but I couldn't find anything very helpful on Google. So the question is: Is there a site that I can use to accurately self-diagnose what kind of conjunctivitis I have; and is there a place to find medication for it?
I checked WebMD, but most of the medications listed were said to suck and the only one that was supposed to work is very expensive, comes in very small amounts, and has many side-effects that can show up from two days to two years after taking it, one of which is death. Now, I'm not entirely sure how eyedrops can kill you, but I'm not really in a big hurry to find out either.
