So, there's this girl at school that I've been casually dating for a while now, and it started getting serious about a week ago. Yesterday I saw a banner ad on a website that linked to several pornographic videos. What caught my attention was an eerie feeling that I recognized one of the girls, so I clicked on the link. I'm 98% sure it's her, but I don't know if I want to bring it up or not.

I don't have a problem with it, if she is, but I'm afraid of what impact it would have on us as a couple this early in the relationship, and even more afraid of what would happen if I ask and it wasn't her. What would you do in this situation?

EDIT: I am an American, in University and the girl in question is 21.
my thought? let it go, in this day and age, sex is pretty common, and it might just be best to not even bring it up, because either way its going to make you look bad, either A: its not her and she can get on you about looking at porn, or B: it is her and she can be pissed.

Kill her.
There is now ay to know for sure.
Yeah, you could ask, and she could deny it, and be telling the truth.
Or, you could ask, she could deny it and be a filthy liar and you'd eventually find out and destroy yourself with "emotions" and have a terrible life in which you can never keep a stable relationship in a self destructive downward spiral.
Or, you could ask, she could come clean, and you could flip the fuck out and see above.
Or, you could ask, she could come clean, and you could accept that you will always have to worry about herpes.
Or, you could accept that when you are dating someone every attractive girls you see will kind of look like her, to the point that you swear to god she's in a million different places at once.
Or, you could ask, and the horrible memories of what she had to do to pay for tuition and the amount of blow she had to consume to drown the memory will come flooding back and she will go on a rampage.

So, save yourself the nightmare. One of you has to go and you have no better way of handling this.
Kill her, it will remain a mystery, but it won't be one that will haunt you. PLUS, if you kill her, and you stop seeing her face in porn, you'll know you were right to do so!
*sips bourbon, puffs cigar. Closes door.*
Your words bear the wisdom of the gods. Bless us with your knowledge!

not really in america school is highschool and below so I think he assumed the person was underage.
And what part of America are you from where that's true? I've only ever seen it used pretty interchangeablly for education at all levels, completely normal to refer to say, a college student as "going to school".

Just ask her. The only way you'll ever be comfortable with the relationship is if you know for sure. Stay focused and pull the trigger...wait...what were we talking about again?

On an alternate note, I wouldn't be comfortable with it. Dudes are in there like gangbusters all the time man, shit! I understand you dilemma.

Well obviously what you should be doing is posting a photo of her and a link to the video so that we can help you out. We're here to help.

It was a few times thing, and she never really closed the door on doing it again, but it's not ongoing, if that makes any sense. She's not doing it anymore, but she wouldn't mind doing it again if she needs the money.

Well as long as you're cool with it, then I guess it's all cool.
Personally, I would throw her if she was still doing it while you were dating, but if it happened when you guys weren't together then I see no problem.

Although I would be a little freaked out if she'd slept with 70 guys or something.

Open with a compliment, warn her the situation is rathet awkward, tell her in an apologetic manner, stress that it was a baner ad and you don't usually go for that stuff, tell her not to be ashamed if she is. Keep careful watch of her facial expression at all times. If she starts getting defensive, apologise. If she avoids answering, gently press, tell her you're okay with it if she is. This will not effect your relationship. If you're still uncertain, look around, ask questions. If yes, then gently tell her you know. Ask how recently it was. If no, then never mention it again.

Ask if its her or not, otherwise you will just get paranoid. An if she is, I would dump her for a girl that isnt a cum bucket for money. You may accept thats how she makes money now, but you cant complain in a few years time and expect her to change. No real difference to prostitution, its all sex for money - what if she wanted to move into that area of business?

So yeah, ask her first and then decide. Its best you know now than later in life when your married and all your male friends are watching your wife suck off ten men.....among other things.

You might not have a problem, some of those banner ads steal images of girls from facebook and stuff so it might have just been that. Considering the odds its a fair shot.

I've been a prostitute, so I wouldn't really have room to complain.

can you give us a link to the site...
=P
I could, but then I would get banned for sharing porn links. I will tell you this, the advertisement came from a site whose shares a name with a rodent in the Cricetinae family.

It's her. She started crying once I made it clear that I didn't mind, she got a bit better. She's still kinda bummed that I found out, but she thought it was adorable that I was so worried about bringing it up.
Sounds like it all worked out in the end.

You might want to edit the OP or thread title, otherwise people are going to keep giving you unnecessary advice.
Probably. I hadn't even thought of that.
