So what is Camping?

I think it's funny when people complain about camping.

But that's just because I use the Riot Shield and Stun Grenades; essentially I'm an anti-camper.

I haven't had much problems with campers in a lot of shooters. If they don't move from a single point guarding an objective then that's perfectly legit. Sometimes I hide around a corner if I think an enemy is coming then ambush, kill/damage, then move on. If you stay in one spot even the thickest of online players will realize it's time to toss a grenade or two.

The only thing that sometimes gives me a slight rage problem are spawn campers in TF2, in Halo with objective holding and finally Claymore scavengers in MW2.

Camping isn't ONLY an insult, it has an actual definition.

Someone who camps is someone who stays for long periods of time in a secreted area where many people pass through and therefore he gets easy kills.

Camping is when yoy sit tight in one spot, and shoot everything hostile that runs by. And it's a perfectly valid tactic
People are just bitchy cause they got killed, and they'r score isn't the best on the map, so by beeing part of what makes them look like they're not better than everyone else, you're basicly calling their mom a liar, cause she told them just yesterday when she tugge dthem in that they we're special end the best in the world.
It's not that camping is a bad tactic, it's just that some people hate loosing.
