So, what team are you using in Pokemon X and Y?

So, I'm still plugging away at Pokemon. As I'm sure alot of you are, too. And so the question arises: What team are you currently using?

If you're still playing the story mode, list that team. If you've moved on to online, list your main team for online play.

As for me, I just finished up a team I plan to use online very soon:

Slowbro
Donphan
Absol
Togekiss
Ferrothorn
Klefki

Just gotta get one last Leftovers, and I'm set.

I don't have wireless internet to play online. D:

But I've never cared about the competitive side of Pokemon anyway.

I've leveled a bunch of alternates, but my primary team I settled with ended being Blastoise, Chesnaught, Nidoking, Malamar, Dragonite, and Tyranitar.

Yes, I got rocked by the Mega Gardevoir the Champion uses. I basically ended up spamming heal items on Tyranitar until it ran out of Moonblasts because he was the only Pokemon on my team that could survive more than one hit from the thing.

I've also leveled up Absol, Pyroar, Tyrantrum, Noivern, Yveltal, caught Mewtwo, Articuno and Zygarde, and I was planning on finishing leveling Pokemon I used in earlier teams or just like, such as Pikachu, Lucario, Pangoro, Zoroark, Salamence, or Gyarados. But after 60+ hours I've got the urge to play other things again, so that's on hold for the time being. :D

Goodra, Pangoro, Talonflame, Gogoat, Aurorus, and Delphox. Didn't really bother to use previous gen Pokemon since I've used them so much already/don't care for them, and since there's a severe lack of nothing to do after beating the Elite Four, I haven't seen much of a point using anything else.

Capatcha: pump less

I may be spoiled by Pokemon Silver, but they should be pumping in more end game content, not less.

If I have one major criticism about X/Y, it's that. But I'm sure there'll be plenty of content in the inevitable third version.

And really, I feel like there's enough to do after the end to satisfy me. There's collecting TMs, collecting clothes, the Battle Maison, Legendaries, Megastones, Looker missions, and collecting all the new Pokemon. And that's not even getting into the online stuff.

I haven't really been doing online, but I have been trying to beat the Battle Maison so I have a whole box of lvl 50's I've been training. However, my main team for the main story was Goodra, Gardevoir, Aegislash, Absol, Greninja, and Venusaur. Currently working on the double battles in the Maison and using Metagross, Pangoro, Vaporeon, and Goodra to great effect.

Right this second, I have:
Delphox
Venusaur
Goodra
Xernas (I can't even remember how to spell that sucker's name. I just call him Xemnas, as in our good friend from Kingdom Hearts)
Sylveon

And I generally keep a weakling in the 6th slot just to level it up if I'm trying to do something else and don't wanna bother with it. I'm currently working on my strong-and-cute-and-tiny team though, that is my newest goal. I kind of want to restart the game...again. This'll be the third time. It's just such a short game with so very little to do aside from the annoying task of GOTTA CATCH EM ALL, which has never interested me, really.

My main team that I beat the E4 with was Blaziken (lv.73), Greninja (lv.73), Manectric (lv.62), Haxorus (lv.58), Aerodactyl (lv.59), and Trevenant (lv.63). Needless to say, the first two were the only ones to go through a battle without fainting. Tried to go the well-rounded route, without looking up the E4's types, which were admittedly weird to begin with (really? Water, Fire, Steel and Dragon?)

Didn't help that I also completely ignored how the new Fairy type weaknesses/strengths worked out.

I haven't finished the mental molestation yet, but right now:

I've using the fox-kimono thingy.
The key-chain thingy, because its stupid.
The sword, because its stupid.
Chansey. I cannot remember how I got the Chansey in the first place.

I'm restricting myself to four Pokemon because, "why not"?

Klefki, Azumarill and Jolteon tend to keep creeping into my online teams.

Mawile is my go-to Mega Evo because that thing just roflmurders everything without boosts followed by Aggron who becomes the biggest physical wall ever.

Honorable mention goes to Reuniclus for still being an absolute trick room beast, Talonflame for dat roflstomp priority and Shuckle cause you don't fuckle with the Shuckle.

Right now I'm in the process of creating, training and finding the best combos in all my favorite pokemon I can access so I don't have the team I'm aiming for just yet. It's still mostly the team I beat the game but I've made all of them competitively viable so here they are.

Yeah, it's an odd team of odd movesets but it has a tendancy to wreck face at times, especially doubles.

I haven't been playing since I moved on to other games, but if I had to get a team together, it would be

Xerneas
Yveltal
Charizard
Greninja
Volcarona
Sylveon

Not the best team, but I'm not big on competitive battling anyway. It's weird my favorite type(dragon) isn't there at the moment, even though I used Tytantrum for my main game. I probably would've used Zygarde too if I liked it more.

I'm not a huge Pokemon fan in all honesty but Pokemon X has really sucked me in. My current team is:

Delphox
Lucario
Pyroar
Talonflame
Vaporeon
Charmelion

So I like fire types? What of it?

I must say Lucario, despite being a fighting/steel type, is fast becoming my favourite. He's pulled me through some very close battles single-handedly.

He quickly became my favourite even before his appearance in the story, so seeing Lucario as the first Pokemon to mega evolve was pretty damn cool.

I've got a pretty neat team of mostly huge pokemon.

Golurk (level 80), my main destroyer of worlds.
Bisharp (level 70), because sometimes things need a good stabbing.
Pidgeot (level 65), because it was my main in Yellow and I keep the tradition alive.
Lilligant (level 60), because it is the best pokemon and you are wrong if you don't agree.
Shauna's Braxien (level 70), because Delphox looks dumb but I didn't want to offend Shauna by not using it.
Lapras (level 54), because I need to surf.

Almost all of them are big, so it's absolutely adorable to think about my tiny ass 10 year old protagonist playing with them in Amie, especially Golurk.

For story mode I used Delphox, Diggersby, Venusaur, Doublade (w/ Eviolite), Staraptor, and Sylveon.

For online I only play triples and have an elaborate Sunny Day team going with Hawlucha, (a different) Delphox, Talonflame, Florges, Gogoat, and Heliolisk. One of my favourite parts of it is Heliolisk's ridiculous STAB + Solar Power + Normal Gem Hyper Beam. I only use it as a finisher to avoid the recharge but it's a hilarious finisher.

Finally set up my competitive team.

Right now it's as follows:

Meinshao

Gogoat

Talonflame

Azumarill

Krookodile

Tyrantrum.

After testing them out in the battle tower, they are pretty good. I gave them the appropriate items and I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas break so I can whoop some real ass online.

My team has Arcanine, Vaporeon, Cloyster, Donphan, Lucario and Jolteon. For the record, my team will always have Jolteon and even more so Arcanine because they are the best pokemon, with arcanine being THE best of them all. I'm sorry but you're wrong if you say so otherwise :p

That was my semi-not-really competitive team. I doubt I'll ever go online due to my thinking that everyone will stomp me because they put too much effort into being super damn competitive like my friend which pretty much ruins it for me. My storyteam though was pretty much mega Blastoise and that was it. I occasionally used chesnaught or talonflame but that was rare anyone beat my Blastoise

My friends are much more into their Pokemon than I am, so for our first round of battles we're having a latest gen only rule. Pretty confusing for me as I haven't played since Gold/Silver and can't tell my Golurks from my Goodras, but a bit of Bulbapedia work and I'm ok.

That rule in place and my team stands as this:
Chesnaught
Goodra
Hawlucha
Pyroar
Greninja
Aurorus

Without limits, my team is more like this:
Gengar (so far the only level 100 I have, has a wide variety of move types and Gengarite. Pretty boss)
Blastoise
Mawile
Aurorus
Chesnaught
Either Flareon or Charizard, possibly Dragonite, Alakazam or Pikachu. I haven't quite decided.

I'm not certain why my team is so full of Gen 1 Pokemon, I didn't really intend to. I might do some more shuffling once I've trained all the Pokemon I really want to level 95+, I think Greninja might be a bit more useful than Blastoise, although Mawile and Gengar do have that area covered pretty well.

I probably won't do much online stuff, just battle my friends as loads of us play now. Some of them are pretty hardcore and some are like me and don't really care enough to put so much effort into getting the right stats and natures and all that. It's a pretty good mix, you get the competition but it's still relaxed and fun.

Pikachu (will evolve once it learns light screen)
Might be better just to not evolve it and give it a Light Ball to double it's attack and special attack (which sucks because Raichu is so damn cool).
