So who was your top "Never going to be in Smash Brothers" character?

Zero from Mega Man X (hey, they put Snake in there because he was in a couple Nintendo games early on even though he's now on different systems).

Even more unlikely: how about Simon Belmont? I bet he could be a frickin' badass with his whip and subweapons.

Zero from Mega Man X is one I've been wanting since Melee, his moveset is pretty much already gift wrapped for them to use too.

A more recent character that I would love to see is Shovel Knight, even though he's not actually a Nintendo character, I think he would be fun as hell to play as in Smash Bros.

Nabooru from Ocarina of Time and Simon Belmont from Castlevania.

I'm still a little bitter about the former not being in Hyrule Warriors (twin scimitars, wind powers, must I spell it out for you, Nintendo/KT?) and, in the case of our vampire hunter, I'd absolutely love to see the 8-directional whip in action on a SSB game. Or maybe the horizontal whip with holy water/crosses/knives.
