So........Zone-tan as a Playable character in Skullgirls!!!!

For those they don't know Lab-Zero successfully funded not only their first DLC character Squigly, but also other 4 DLC characters and many other extra things like Bonus Stages, Extra Voices etc.

But now I just learned just now an 6th character will come in the Skullgirls videogame:

Ladies and Getlemen, I present to all of you Zone-tan as a playable character in Skullgirls videogame!!!!

If you?ve been keeping track of Skullgirls news recently, you?ll know that Squigly and several more DLC characters were funded thanks to the Indiegogo campaign. What you may not know is that in addition to that, I have donated $225,000 to Lab Zero in order to fund the development of ZONE-tan as a playable DLC character in Skullgirls.
One of the reasons why Squigly is taking so long is because we are developing ZONE-tan in tandem with her with plans to release them both simultaneously in around 2 months. Currently, she is still in very early development, although we have her idle and walk cycles completely colored, as well as one of her specials and most of her regular standing attacks. Since there is no need to audition for her, Caxx has also already been able to record all her vocal samples.
To get people hyped up, I?m providing you with a small content pack to show her off in her current state. Included in it are:
1) Screenshots of ZONE-tan in game, running on an early PC build of the game that also incorporates my vector UI (many other game elements are not yet implemented, e.g. BG sprites).
2) A character concept sheet for ZONE-tan explaining how she will play.
3) A sample of her voice pack, containing several sounds that she will use.


Sadly, because you understand why I don't have the download, you must search for yourself to see the .zip file and get it yourself!!!!

That, flash videos, and still pictures are about all he/she (nobody knows for sure what the gender is) is known for. Heck, the whole thing just seems to have exploded onto the general internet hive mind recently. I'm sure there's some connoisseurs of bizarre porn out there who have known about Zone for a while, but somewhere in the last few months, his/her stuff (especially the youtube videos starring Zone Tan, which aren't porn so much as a series of animated updates on what Zone is working on) has started showing up everywhere, including the safe for work parts of the internet. I first heard about it because someone on this site had a Zone Tan avatar, for example.

As far as I know he/she's a prolific creator of hentai parodies, one of which is of Skullgirls. Because of that, she was actually recently hired by the studio who made the game to do character art and animation.

I'm guessing this an April Fool though, going by the amount that was allegedly donated. It would be kind of cool to see this actually happen though. Having someone's online alter-ego actually become a playable character in a game they personally worked on sounds pretty interesting.

She is the mascot of a website and animator which makes hentai games. If anyone has every spent any time playing them, you have probably played one of "hers". I like her "news" reports, they tend to be quite funny, and very well animated. Here is an example: Be warned, it is NSFW.
