Don't know the name, but I know it's the song they use, or at least used to use, in the original Pokemon anime for really emotional moments (like when Ash released his Butterfree back in the first arc). Not sure if it still gets used, I doubt it does, but it was definitely used near the start of the original RBY anime. I'll have a look on Bulbapedia and see if it says there.

Okay, Bulbapedia was no help at all but Googling "what piano song is used in Pokemon when Butterfree is released?" pointed me to a Youtube video giving the song title, which I then verified with Bulbapedia, where it's listed on the OST page.

It's called Tears, After The Cloudy Weather.
