So is goldeneye 64 the best video game adaptation of a movie? I'm a bit torn between it and spiderman 2, but goldeneye 64 follow the movie much closer.

Batman '89 NES and Genesis followed their movie close too. More so the Genesis version. Granted, following the movie 100% does not make the movie licensed game automatically good or bad. The quality is the most important. Sometimes diverting can be fun when done right or wanting to do something different.

Oh yeah quality first, but I'll give extra point to a good movie adaptation that follow the movie over a good movie adpatation that divert significantly.
