With the way you heat the Sega Genesis bass line drop in the beginning, the Tenchi Muyo opening is a dead ringer for a Shinobi opening. Replace everything you see with a montage of Joe Musashi kicking ass, training, meditating and having deep introspection.
This feels like a lost song between Rez, Lumines, and Child of Eden. Or if Giffany had an image song, this would be it.
