Reminds me of a One-Piece Game starting Sabo that doesn't exist. Also Far Cry 6.

"Guardian Angel", by Juno Reactor reminds me of Streets of Rage 3. The game came out in 1994; the song came out in 1995. This is the starting era of dark techno, jungle, or fast-paced rhythm and base.

Prog rock reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. This is a nostalgia/just me thing. My older brother was into prog rock, so things like ELO or Genesis were background while I was playing ALttP. My other older brother was into country, but I hate Garth Brooks so much I'd just leave and do something else if he had control of the stereo. A few years ago I was retrogaming ALttP and caught myself humming Land of Confusion after an hour or so.

To add further to what I said: here is where the song is used in Drive (1997). Everything looks like something you would see in Streets of Rage 3.

Do note, that this is from the Theatrical Cut. Get the Director's Cut version that is on Blu-Ray

A dreamy, well done bit of minimalist synth work.
Some said it gave them vibes of Chrono Trigger (Corridors of Time, specifically), but I personally attribute it to more to the first 2 Persona game entries when it still had some splashes of darkness in it.

Whenever I hear this song, it could fit nearly any fighting game made in the 90s. "On My Own" would fit perfectly in Street Fighter or Fatal Fury.

Songs like these remind me of Final Fight, Lethal Enforcers, and Art of Fighting. They would fit very well in these games or their hypothetical movie adaption.

Reminds me of a recently teased game yet to be released. Or the other way around, actually.

Nier: Automata, Samurai Showdown, Metal Gear Rising, and No More Heroes. The first song definitely fits Sifu.

Got Sifu vibes with the first song. The second song I'm getting Space Channel 5 and Sayonara Wild Hearts groove.

Another one with a Sonic the Hedgehog feeling. I get Sonic 3 soundtrack from this one.

Not like the biggest stan for Soulsbourne games but I do get that itch and watching AEW made me realize this song just makes me this think of the series.

A JoJo song like this would fit in fine with Crazy Taxi and Tony Hawk: Pro Skater.

These songs would so fit in to 3rd Strike's hip-hop soundtrack, or that one back alley stage in Capcom vs. SNK. Soul II Soul goes with everything.

Getting Tekken vibes with this song. Mainly Tekken 2. The album as a whole feels like something you would hear in the early-mid to late nineties. Which is what the album is going for. I can sense a lot of midlife PS1 games with this soundtrack.

@CriticalGaming, I'm surprised you've not posted here more often. It's been a while since you post anything. You got any music to share today? If not, no worries.
