why, Ransacked of course if going for a more emotional, all sounds but the music muted, black and white scenario and one that I have actually blared on my headphones while playing vidyagaems, especially when fighting entire hordes it's one of those songs that just works and gets you real pumped up
Someone already hit Judas Priest, and they picked a fantastic song, but for me, I'd have to go with One Shot at Glory:
I mean, you're in a desperate final stand and you have, well, one shot at glory. So why not take that shot, and why not do it to the perfect backing track?
Sure I still liked Liberate me from hell but I had overused it so many time and I just find I may Fall far more refreshing and suitable cos of the lyrics in the song.
I was going t say the same thing. A final stand song should by hype as all hell battle music about you fighting an your enemy

Another great example, I like my boss fights and final stand music to go with the combat system, and when I imagine a hyped final battle I imagine something fast and powerful, or if its a doomed scenario something slow and haunting or in the case of "I may Fall" something that is fast, and has a theme of resisting the end. Liberate me from hell is a song I both like and hate, the cut and edited parts used for Gurren Lagann were awesome (duh) but as for the regular song I am not really a fan of it for fight music.
While "You're going down" was going to be my recommendation (Tales of the past III anyone?) but seeing as that one has been called out I have another favorite to put up.
This boss fight was the sickest most radical thing ever, and the music fit with it perfect, actually a lot of music from Metal Gear Rising would work to be honest.
Well there's only one real answer. When this is playing you can accomplish anything!
And then the moment when the tide turns and an overhwleming sense of awesomeness washes over me and I take out the enemy with... FINISHING MOVE! GIGA.....DRILL....BREAKKKKKKKK!

That one has historical precedent. IIRC, during the Falklands War, after a British ship was sunk, the survivors sung that song while they waited for rescue.
This. 100% this.
I can imagine it too. A big battle, my last stand, my last brute force of strength and courage coming out as one final strike, able to destroy both me and my enemy, and saving what was left.
