Thats not spidergirl... thats Anorexia girl.
But seriously.. are we really going to slap tits and vagina on any male superhero now and call it an achievement for diversity?
Newsflash: Diversity isnt genderswapping.. its comming up with Female characters that can stand on their own without having to rely on the fame of male superheros and their lore.
This is just a cheap marketing gimmick with the comic industry begging to be taken more serious cause they are so respecting all genders and sexualities when in truth they just want to sucker in more people to buy their crap.
Definitely, and this kind of cheap pandering gimmicks are in themselves far more sexist than not having female heroes.
OT: If Sony keeps up their track record with superhero movies especially Spider-Man movies so far this is going to be excellent, though I think it's significantly more likely that it'll be a pandering gimmicky movie.
However, I honestly do not understand all the rage for the Amazing Spider-Man movies that goes on around here. It's like they somehow watched a completely different movie judging by how divorced most of the criticism I see around here is from anything that actually happened on screen.
