Sony Digs Up Uncharted 3 Collector's Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses

Best Buy's pre-order bonus awards you with the Regeneration Booster, which increases healing rate in multiplayer. Amazon gets three pre-order bonuses: the Carpet Bomb Medal Kickback that sends out three grenades with one throw, and increased clip size gun mods for the Para-9 and the G-MAL weapons. Finally, putting down a deposit at Wal-Mart will net you the Callout Weapon Mod, a laser sight for the AK-47 that allows everyone on your team to see what you're targeting.

These bonuses are early unlocks and not exclusive to each retailer. You'll be able to find them in-game eventually no matter where you buy Uncharted 3. It's really how all pre-order content should be handled.

Uncharted 3 will be available in November 2011.

That IS a good way to handle preorders. Freaking NV making me want all the different loot, but knowing it will be obsolete 2 hours into the game hald me back.

Yay it has a statue! That means it's an instant-purchase for me. What can I say, I'm a sucker for decorative game items. At least ones that aren't too tacky. No Duke Nukem buste for me, for example.

I just hope I can fork over the money for it. My income will go down drastically when I go back to school.

I played Uncharted 1. Thought it was okay, but not really franchise worthy.

Then I played Uncharted 2...and ate one of my boots.

Uncharted 3...will be the first collector's edition that I've ever bought...and it will be worth it.

I will never take that replica ring off.
