Price cut applies to NA and EU, it's 299 bucks and 299 Euros. The 160 gig in NA is 399 now.

Someone on here was talking about how awesome Valkyria Chronicles was, so I was thinking of getting it. PS3s here in the UK are double that price! So I won't get to experience that in the near future.

Well at least they've removed the shiny dust magnet plastic on the original model. I've already got a "fat" and the only reason I still have it is because you get rubbish trade in prices on them. I have four games and I rarely even use it as anything other than a bluray player. I'd actually use it if it had BC on it.

Slim pre-orders on the UK Amazon site say £250, which sucks a bit as it isn't quite in proportion to the reductions everyone else is enjoying, seeing it's effectively been retailing at £280 for the last few months anyway.
