From August 27th to September 2nd select indie titles will receive substantial discounts on the PlayStation Store.

PAX Prime is upon us and Sony, in celebration of the impending event, has announced a new sale on a slew of the PlayStation Network's indie titles. Starting August 27th and running through September 2nd, visitors to the PlayStation Store will find an assortment of games with their prices slashed. Gamers with a basic account will receive a discount up to 65 percent while PS Plus members will receive as much as 75 percent off the regular price. The games discounted will include:

Penny-Arcade Adventures On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness Ep 1 &2 (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49, PS Plus: $3.75)
Closure (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49,PS Plus: $3.75)
Retro City Rampage (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $4.99, PS Plus: $3.75)
Dragon Fantasy Book I (Regular: $9.99, Sale: $4.99, PS Plus: $2.50)
Limbo (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49, PS Plus: $5.99)
Tokyo Jungle (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49, PS Plus: $3.75)
Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov's Revenge (Regular: $9.99, Sale $4.99, PS Plus: $2.50)
Journey (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49, PS Plus: $3.75)
Skullgirls (Regular: $14.99, Sale: $7.49, PS Plus: $3.75)
Retro/Grade (Regular: $9.99, Sale: $4.99, PS Plus: $2.50)
Dyad (Regular $14.99, Sale $7.49, PS Plus $3.75)

Several of the titles on sale are also eligible for Cross Buy, giving purchasers access to copies on both PS3 and Vita. The Cross Buy games include: Retro City Rampage, Dragon Fantasy Book I, Limbo, and Zombie Tycoon II. All in all, this is a decent sale that cuts prices on several worthwhile titles. Personally, I plan on picking up Dragon Fantasy Book I. That said, do any of the titles above strike your fancy? And if not what are some indie titles you'd like to see discounted in the future?

$3.75 for Tokyo Jungle? I might have to buy that.

Also I highly recommend Retro City Rampage to anyone who hasn't played it yet. Good shit right there.

Ok, guys, Tokyo Jungle and Journey are each on sale for $7.50 for non-plus members. No one with a PS3 and a decent internet connection has an excuse to skip out on them now. Journey is one of the greatest art games on the market right now, and Toyko Jungle has cats fighting raptors.

No excuses!

Yeah, when I saw Journey, I was like "well, now I pretty much HAVE to buy it."

Tokyo Jungle is a title that, at the PS+ price is totally worth the shot, but Journey? The only thing holding me back befoe as the price.

Looks like that's over.

I'ma be buying a large chunk of the list, I think.

Yeah.. Journey and Tokyo Jungle will be surefire purchases at 3.75 each (whatever that may translate to in AUD) Limbo as well i think.. maybe a fiar chunk of this as, having started my own business now, i'm kind of poor. This will keep me occupied a long while for minimal cost.

Thank you for this sony! lol
