Speculation - Mega Man X: Corrupted is nearing completion.

The world map, bosses, story, and dialogue are the only things left on to the to-do list. However, recent screenshots and videos suggest these are nearing completion.

The latest Wall Photo shows a virus stage. The virus stage is the last level in Mega Man X5. It's not a stretch to imagine this is the same in Corrupted.

The Dialog Editor photos suggests rapid progression in story and dialogue.

The first boss reveal was sixteen weeks ago:


The first mini-boss reveal is even further in the past. The developer says boss fights take about one week to create. Sixteen weeks is a lot of time to at least make seven more Mavericks.

I'll be optimistic and say this game comes out in two months. I believe it will at least come out this year though.

If I remember this correctly hasn't that project been in the works for a few years now? I've seen a lot of people guessing it will come out when it didn't. Still I am looking forward to when it's finally released as a Megaman fan myself.

Yup. It's why I'm not getting all that excited, despite the game looking more amazing than ANYTHING I've played from Capcom in the last 5 years.

And it will continue to prove their paradoxical, childish attitude towards Megaman.
