Interesting. I mean I wasn't the fan of others, but I thought blacklist was pretty damn good
I agree (as do most) that Chaos Theory is the franchise's acme, but honestly, the worst thing about Blacklist is that Michael Ironside wasn't the voice of Sam Fisher. Everything else about that game is great. I think after the complete tonal shift of Double Agent, then the half-assed righting of the ship that was Conviction, dropping Ironside from Blacklist ensured that title was dead on arrival. Any faith within the fanbase had been strained too much, and the title's performance suffered for it as did Ubisoft's support for a "failing" franchise.
It sucks because you want the company to look at
its own body of work, grab them by he nape and force their noses onto a copy of Chaos Theory and scream in their ear "You see that?!? JUST TO THAT AGAIN!!" Hell, I'm gagging even suggesting this, but I'd even take a Chaos Theory...
*hurk*... Rema'haaa... REMASTER.
