I don't really hate any games for there success. I don't really hate Halo, though I think it is filler at best. I'm tempted to say Wow, but only because people get obsessed with it, while I can't imagine doing anything more in Wow then playing it for a few months every few years, hitting max level and calling it good. The closest I can think of is the GTA series. Sandbox games are way overrated, and I personally stopped enjoying GTA once they stopped being a 2d, top down game.

Prob Gears of War. There is actually a storyline in there somewhere, I think everyone missed it. I've played 1+2, they are actually really fun. Just try to avoid the online community (13-15 year olds with 50% of their vocabulary reserved for douchebag and ******)

Hmm, Half-Life 2, CoD4, WoW, ANY Final Fantasy, Halo (of course) and possibly Fallout 3.

I only hated halo 3, I liked halo 2 and I thought Halo was ok. But halo 3 was just...Bland, mediocre and not worth my time.

As said before, WoW or halo. Specifically halo 3, although in that case the hatred has more merit than with the others.
