We found an ancient piece of technology called "Sega Genesis," and have analyzed it's workings. Engineering Chief Mr. LaForge managed to connect it the viewscreen, and was able to operate some if its peripherals. Once we got it working, we were amazed by its simplicity and engineering. The inscriptions on the small accessories read "Castlevania Bloodlines, Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunderforce 3, Ristar, Vectorman, Gunstar Heroes, and Outrun."
I have had it installed on the viewscreen in my quarters for further study myself. I have studied it for nine hours and still cannot stop analyzing it.
Captain's Log Supplemental: we have found another piece of ancient technology very similar to the "Sega Genesis" I have been studying for the past eleven days. This counterpart is dubbed "Super Nintendo Entertainment System." It's performance is similar but slightly different. It has also come with detachable accessories.
These accessories are dubbed "Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (a very fitting name indeed), Donkey Kong Country, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Super Castlevania IV, F-Zero, and Actraiser."
I am conducting studies and comparisons with this new unit and the "Genesis."
I have again found myself unable to stop my research and use of the old technology.
User 4: Captain brtshtel is considered M.I.A we have not seen or heard from the captain after he said he was going to study the past. The only clues we have to disappearance are orders of Doritos, pizza and beer to his quarters nightly.
Luser 2: There was a confrontation between us and this guy named CATS. Here is the dialogue:
Mechanic: Somebody set up us the bomb.
Operator: Main screen turn on.
CATS: All your base are belong to us.
CATS: You have no chance to survive make your time.
Captain: For great justice.
Captain's Log Stardate 7493.7: We have continued to find more of these old pieces of Tec. We've come across another, dubbed "Jaguar." However, we find this piece of tech to be odd and redundant.
We have decided to beam it back down to the surface and leave it there, as we have gotten enough information from the "Genesis" and "Super Nintendo" devices. Plus, it's not really "64 bits," and it appears the literature texts that came with it are biased and untrue.
