Star Trek: TNG Cast Reunites for Family Guy

Seth McFarlane makes it so as the crew of Enterprise-D attends an animated convention in a special episode of Fox's raunchy cartoon.

Having already conquered the world of Star Wars with its already [http://www.familyguyblueharvestdvd.com/] brought in the (living) cast of the original series, I supposed they figured that they may as well go one better while they're at it (that's right) and go with the cast of The Next Generation.

Airing on March 26, the episode titled "Johnathan Frakes [http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/02/star-trek-next-generation-family-guy.html] playing themselves as the Griffin family attends an annual Star Trek convention in Quahog.

"Stewie blows a fuse when he doesn't get a chance to ask his favorite 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' cast members any questions," reads the episode summary. "He devises a plan, builds a transporter and beams the entire cast to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog."

Word of this animated reunion originally broke earlier this month in an Hee-Haw: The Next Generation [http://tvseriesfinale.com/articles/star-trek-the-next-generation-audio-interview-jonathan-frakes-leverage-family-guy/]? Tune in this March to find out.

I am dancing right now at this news! There won't be another TNG movie so this is the best I can hope for.

Is it just me, or is the most entertainment from these Star Trek and Star Wars franchises these days derived from people who lovingly lampoon them- and not the actual franchises themselves which have become bloated and smelly like your great uncle Roy?

I am drooling over this news now. Seriously, I love TNG. And Family Guy. Two great things that go great together, anyone?

See their latest, greatest adventure, with the original crew.

Good ol family guy riding the coat-tails of actually good series like Futurama and Robot Chicken. This will be as bad as any episode they have put out so far, and will fail in comparison to what was already accomplished by the other series already having star trek and star wars spin-offs.

There is no justice in this world where Futurama gets the axe, but family guy continues destroying good tv...

this should be fun, most of the star trek crew are awesome

still think Wil is awesome for going to a sci fi convention wearing a "toss wesley out an airlock" and no one noticed him but said his button was awesome

Quoted for sharing of feeling. Besides, Khell, you do realize that the demographic for Family Guy is primarily Middle School students?

TNG is my favorite star trek series, and I LITERALLY jumped for joy when i read this, that said, I thought it was already established that Voyager was the favorite series of Peter and the gang.
