This will become less and less relevant, nowadays before I buy game on steam I always check another discount site (like greenmangaming) and it's rare that steam has the lowest price. I've only been doing that for a few months but there's already probably a big difference.

$32.

Yeah, I'm not a big Steam user. Most of what I've got I've got from Humble Bundle, and I've just let it pile up in my library.

This. I remember spending big when there were good sales. Now I use steam as a library. Even new games I buy from anywhere else, particularly Humble as they donate to charities

2.6k.

....Fuck. I mean, granted I made my account back in 2012 so that's about four hundred dollars a year (which includes gifts for friends), but still.

....now, let me just say, I've been given gift cards, bought games for friends, etc.

Mine's nearly $6,000

I also saw someone have over $11,000.

$5.2k the past 9 years. Not too bad, I'm finding myself using steam less and less though.

$3.2k after 14 years. So about $229 a year.

So, 198 games in my library, of which by my estimation about 25 are freebies or f2p. My calculator tells me I've spent an average of $18.5 per game.

My Steam spending is declining though, in favor of alternatives like GOG or indirect purchases through Humble or Green Man Gaming and such.

Not as bad as I thought. I've been buying stuff since 2009.

$1123.74, first purchase was The Last Remnant in March 2010. I am pleased to see so many people cutting back on Steam purchases. I stopped buying from Steam a few years ago when they said that if you ever decline to agree to a new TOS then your access to your games will be lost. I realized that they could put anything in their TOS because they hold your games as ransom.

870,59 euro. Makes sense. I've been using steam literally since the day it came out. Kinda expected it to be more.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Enough to disappoint my parents but not enough to give me all the games I want.

$1,900ish. My wife spent about $1,300 I think, so nearly 3.5k combined.
