When my mom had that problem, it turned out that her card provider had stopped it because it looked suspicious.

I've had that problem and Steam told me my credit card had been blocked by my provider. I called the provider and they said everything was in good standing. I found out that Steam had blocked purchases on my account because I had bought an enormous amount of games in just a couple days because of the daily sales they were doing. If you've been buying a lot you might want to try asking Steam to unblock your account because you were actually the one making the purchases.

I had to get mine cleared by Steam because my credit card is based out of another country. Just contact Steam and it should work out with a day or two.

I had that problem.

Then I rang up my bank and found out they had decided to suspend it due to suspicious activity (they thought someone had stolen it).

I can't believe I have to trust my money with a bunch of retards.
