Hi, first post!

Anyway, I also believe Fallout 3 and Ne Vegas are on sale, Fallout 3 is $5 and $10 for the GOTY edition, and New Vegas is $15, which I'll probably jump on because the Fallout franchise has always interested me

It also seems to be a pretty big sale, judging by the list, which is pretty abnormal. This also be a pretty good way for people to get into horror games, like me. Thinking about I'll probably pass and wait for the better Holiday sale, and use my $10 for Half - Life 2

That's all my thoughts ( sorry if I didn't write a lot) Cheers!

Haven't found much I want really.
Managed to get Orcs must die 2, Walking Dead, and I am Alive for just under £30. I'm expecting the Sleeping Dogs DLC to come out soon too, so I'll get that then as well.

So Steam wants more money from me when I've not even played half the games I bought during summer sales?

I already have most of the games that are on sale now, and the few that I don't have are because I didn't want them in the first place.

But I did buy everyone on my friend's list four games and one special person got six. So I guess it's a win for Steam either way.

The Walking Dead for $14.99? SOLD!!! Limbo for $2.49? SOLD!!! Orcs Must Die 2!!! S... Damn it appears my Steam wallet is empty.

I had considered getting The Walking Dead when it came on disc for Xbox but for half the price I'm more than happy!

I find the lack of mention that Bloodlines is 75% off, disappointing.

Get it, get it now. It's the perfect price.

EDIT: Also don't forget to pick up the Unofficial Patch [http://www.patches-scrolls.de/vampire_bloodlines.php].

Ugh, I just bought Condemned and it's annoying me quite a lot. The game has letterboxing on none-16:9 resolutions but won't let me change to a 16:9 resolution, despite having a 16:9 monitor! It's infuriating and nobody on Google seems to be having the same issue ¬¬

It doesn't seem to save any graphics options at all, actually. The only way I can change my resolution is with the config tool, which only lists 4:3 resolutions.

I bought Fallout: New Vegas for the fourth time (once for the 360 when it was released. Twice for friends who had it on their wishlist. And I wanted it for my new computer, so jumped on this sale).

I going to get Alice: Madness returns because it looks fairly interesting and 5$ sounds about in my price range... but I am going to feel a bit irresponisble when there are plenty of games I haven't played that need playing... and I have a entire libraries worth of games I haven't finished but play sporatically. Curse you afordability!!!

Too bad it's all on Steam, some of these deals are attractive. Anything similar somewhere else?
GamersGate has a Halloween sale going on. But Bloodlines is not there.

GOG would most probably have one, it might be the weekend thing starting early or not. GOG also doesn't have Bloodlines, although it has Redemption. I don't really know if that's a point in favour but it's still GOG, so it doesn't need many more.

Is Walking Dead worth it? Can anyone who has tried it give me a run down on how long it is, whether the game-play/story is any good, etc?

Basically here is where I'm at.

I could potentially get ONE game out of this sale. I'm hesitant to do even that, but there are some temptations here.

Here's what I'm considering.

1. Walking Dead (have not played)
2. Dead Rising 2 (have not played)
3. Rage (have not played)
4. Dead Island (have not played)

And finally the New Vegas special edition with all the DLC. I HAVE played that to completion, but I'm not totally adverse to playing it again with all the new stuff and maybe some mods.

Well, Rage is finally cheap enough for me to pick it up. Oh, and FEAR 2 for $3? Why not.

Dammit Steam, I know you're going to have a winter sale too. I don't think my wallet can take much more of this abuse....

I got to that point as well. Whenever Steam has a big sale going on, I check the list, notice that I already own half of the titles they've got up there, and quit. Anyway, with all the new games coming for the Holiday season, do I really need more games to add to my backlog? Not so much.

IndieRoyale have a pay what you want thing that includes Season 3 of Sam and Max and more importantly:

Pathologic :D which is the most awesome game everyone will hate for a variety of reasons except for it being absolutely incredible for the few people it gels with......

On a budget of $20, I've bought Left 4 Dead 2 (two copies; one for me, and one for my boyfriend), Space Pirates and Zombies, Home, and Lone Survivor. I was also severely tempted to get Condemned: Criminal Origins since I never got to play that, but opted to get that extra copy of L4D2 for my boyfriend instead. I've been having a lot of fun with Left 4 Dead and SPAZ so far, and I'm saving Home and Lone Survivor for Halloween day, since those are the only real horror games I got. I'd say it was a pretty good deal, overall. It's not often that I get to knock so many games off my wishlist at once.
