I know that feeling. I actually went through my wishlist, looked at every single game that was 60% off or more, and either bought it or took it off my list (never really going to buy it at this point if I didn't want it now).

Ended up cutting my list down from 120ish to 26.

Why do you say what currency the prices are in and then write the symbol for the currency? Isn't that redundant?

But I hope you feel intimidated by my giant humongous haul.

Drakensang - 2,49 Euronen
Drakensang: The River of Time - 4,74 Euronen

I find it funny that the standalone expansion is more expensive than the main game. But then again it is superior.
And if you like RPGs you should absolutely play it. Just be aware that it uses the The Dark Eye ruleset and it can be quite obtuse as to how it handles skillchecks.

Most of the other games on my unbelievably expansive (4) wishlist are either not yet released or early access meaning not yet released but we still want you to fork over money.

Nothing! The only game I was moderately interested in on Steam - Dawn of War 3 - wasn't at a significant-enough discount for me to get into it. Ah well, maybe next time.

The PS4 'popular in Japan' sale, on the other hand... whooo boy...

For 5 USD I got:

-Half-Life
-Blue Shift
-Opposing Force
-Team Fortress Classic
-Halo: Spartan Assault
-Halo: Spartan Strike

I restrict myself from splurging on these sales, setting the price as $5 or less.

Looking at my receipt, I spent 44 bucks canadian on 5 games. Most were in the $5-$8 range.

Anacronox - Interesting sci-fi rpg game with insane animation lengths. Liking it so far though, it has charm.
Along The Edge - western visual novel type thing, haven't put too much time into it yet
Cradle - The only price I can remember because it was finally under 10 bucks, but only barely. Kind of a walking sim as you try and rebuild a robo lady in the wastelands of future mongolia.
LISA - I know nothing about this other than it's kinda rogue-like and can be super offensive. So that'll be interesting.
Omni-Link - Once again, really know nothing about it, some early access visual novel? haven't checked it out yet.
Starbound - this was mostly an impulse buy.

I totally recommend Anacronox though after just 2 hours of gameplay if you want some sci-fi rpg goodness, and make friends with your \\\\ button because it's the fast forward one and it will be your best friend.

I'm a console scrub but Microsoft had a summer sale so...

Telltales The Walking Dead New Frontier (the newest one): $12

Telltales Guardians of the Galaxy: $12

Superhot: $12

The Evil Within Digital Deluxe (so with DLC): $15

Telltale games are my jam. I won't even open them until they are all out but I love me some Telltale.

Superhot looks cool as hell. I've heard very good things and unique games are hard to come by.

Evil Within is the biggest gamble but word of mouth makes it sound a lot better than the critical reaction it got (which wasn't awful but all said it was OK). I'm cautiously optimistic and it's $15; I've spent that much on waaaaaay dumber things.

I was flush with cash so I kind of went over board. It will take me at least until next summer sale to play it all.

Jun 29, 2017
FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster (I liked FFX never got to play X-2)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (I was so hyped for this until it released when I just didn't by it, then felt responsible when basically caned it after poor sales.)
20XX (I have been meaning to by this, but kept forgetting.)
Underrail (Same here kept forgetting to buy it.)
Planetary Annihilation: Titans (I like it.)

Jun 25, 2017
Ladykiller in a Bind (Ya turns out a whip is where my line is. Now I know.)
If My Heart Had Wings (This one was recommended to me. I haven't played it yet and have no idea what it is about. My guess experimental hart transplant goes wrong.)

Jun 24, 2017
Tabletop Simulator (I bought it for when I need it.)
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair (It plays really well on PC everyone should play this game.)
Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition (I didn't like the first shadow run, but I hear this one is better.)
Far Cry 4 (I bought it for co-op)
Convoy (Kept forgetting to buy this one three)
Massive Chalice (It's cheap and the concept is cool. Lot more going on with it then I thought though.)
Endless Legend Collection (I love my 4x games.)

Yuck, I don't want to think about this but:

Enter the Gungeon $7.49

The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human $2.49

Song of the Deep $3.74

Brigador Soundtrack & Audiobook $4.99 (Had Brigador already and man that soundtrack is killer)

Project CARS $9.89

NieR:Automata? Standard Edition $41.99

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition $24.99

And a Steam Link for $15 (Technically ordered it from Amazon before Steam Summer sale, but it was discounted because of the summer sale. The good and bad is it hasn't shipped yet, so I still haven't been charged for it yet.)

$110.58 total. Yuck. I tried to buy some of them on different days to fool myself into thinking I wasn't spending that much, but I knew this would make me feel gross.

I initially got King of Fighters IV + Season Pass for $60, but I decided that I couldn't take the hit right now, so I refunded it. Currently, the damage is a copy of Earth Defense Force 4.1 for $30, debating whether or not to keep it at that price.

Also, debating whether or not to get Gal*Gun: Double Peace for $10. Got till the 15th to decide that.

Bought myself Galactic Civilizations 3 'Complete' and Tales of Berseria

So far pretty happy with both. I'm not normally much into jrpg, but I wanted to get something story driven and I thought the premise of Berseria was neat. So far it... well to be honest it hasn't lived up to that cool premise, but it's still been fun and I don't regret the purchase.

Everspace
No Man's Sky
Carmaggedon: Ressurection
Bayonetta
Fallout: New Vegas

I'll be honest, last year I dropped like $300 dollars on the steam sale but I had JUST gotten my PC. So there wasn't a lot that I wanted this time around.

I gotta plug Everspace as an indy game though. It's like FTL, but as an actual space shooter instead of a turn based thing.
