Spent around $33 on about 10 games and made around $8 selling some trading cards so a net loss of $25. Not as bad as last year.

$60

So many single player games... I'm disgusted with myself. I RARELY finish RPGs bu I keep on buying them. Xcom pack, Mass effect 1&2, Farcry 3, Orcs Must Die 1&2, Halo: Spartan Assault, Strike Vector (I'm playing this right now and LOVING it. It's like Quake but with spaceships.)

And I got a couple of gifts for friends which made up a little over $20 of this.

All in all it could've been worse.

Though I'm still considering Space Engineers.

Not bad this year. I think if I do a quick rundown, I've only spent about fifty bucks this summer. I've bought three Sims 3 expansions, Europa Universalis IV complete edition, Long Live the Queen, and Metro: Last Light complete edition. So not a bad haul since I was buying larger titles.

About $50.

I bought Arkham Origins, Injustice, Dead State, and Endless Space.

A friend gifted me Bound by Flame.

Overall I've been a bit underwhelmed by the offers this year, granted I've been a little bit underwhelmed by the game releases this year as well.

I beat the opening portion of Dead State and put some time into Endless Space, arkham origins is on my todo list, but I don't think I'll belikely to get it for a while.

I actually didn't buy any games (but I did get Battleblock Theatre as a gift!).

I mostly just sold the Summer Trading Cards and used the D0$H to buy a bunch of really cheap DoTA 2 items (they had 11 different chests for 80% off, meaning each item inside had crazy low prices on the Community Market). It was surprisingly fun to pick and choose which items I wanted out of the selection of chests considering I got them for free. :3

$5 on Long Live The Queen for my sister. By the time the sale started, my wallet was already nearly emptied by a PC upgrade purchase, and she had been asking for the game since January.

$0.00.

I owned a fair number of the games already and 1 game I actually wanted (King of Fighters XIII) never actually went on sale because it lost in the vote.
Today I was pretty enticed by Wolfenstien: The New Order but my PC barely meets the minimum requirements so I held back. Looks like I should saving up for a new card.

About 110 bucks for me. Got Payday 2 and its DLC, Batman: Arkham Origins and its season pass, the last two headhunter packs for Borderlands 2, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, The Stanley Parable, Sword of the Stars Collection, Endless Space, Metal Gear Rising, a collectors edition upgrade for Company of Heroes 2, and Bioshock Infinite. Oh, and the DLC collection for Sleeping Dogs.

I tried not to spend too much since I'm currently in the middle of buying parts with the intent of building a small gaming rig for my oldest niece, although I think I've spent a total of about $131 with most of that as gifts for friends, though I did buy a few games for myself. like SC: Blacklist, Papers, Please, and Gone Home.

$24. I picked up Spec-Ops: The Line for $6 (haven't played it yet), Gone Home for $3 (not bad for that price) and The Secret World Massive Pack for $15 (surprisingly fun and challenging).

Even though both Borderlands 2 and Tomb Raider hit the $5 mark, I didn't have enough interest in either to bother buying them.

Nothing yet. I'm eyeballing Bioshock: Infinite, Saints Row IV, Tomb Raider and Dragon Age: Origins, but I'm not sure whether I actually want them enough to buy them. I still have 12 hours to decide.

0.

Too busy playing Victoria 2 as New England, and honestly I'm not in the business of buying trash, be it however cheap.

0 bones spent... and today, my best friend gave me his extra copy of Dark Souls that he got for his birthday...

Other than that, my cousins spent less than 10 bones this year and one of the games they bought was Skullgirls...

I capped myself at $50, and ended up spending just over $40.

Transistor (25% off, $15)
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (50% off, $20, not like Ubi deserves it)
Blood of the Werewolf (75% off, $2.50?)
Rogue Legacy (75% off, $3.75)

Not a BIG haul, but I was very tempted to grab Jet Set Radio, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I'll nab it around Christmas. This will last me just fine.

Gunpoint: $2.49
Papers, Please: $2.99
The Stanley Parable: $5.99
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: $14.99
Gone Home: $2.99
Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition: $10.19
Cloudbuilt: $2.99
Dark Souls II: $33.49

Total: $76.12. Thank God I had almost $60 in my Steam Wallet before the sale began. (Also, thank God for Metal Gear Rising, the only thing I've played for a whole week now. I'm unabashedly in love with this game.)

Only about $40 or so.

I bought FF 8 for a friend, as well as Burnout Paradise for him and myself. I also bought Astebreed, a Shoot-em-up game my friend found. I never knew what the hell it was, but, my god... Was it ever worth $10! INCREDIBLE game!

I only spent about $5 USD (so about $7-8AUD) got two of the indie games off my wishlist, One Finger Death Punch and Game Dev Tycoon, the other things on my wishlist are still either in Early Access or weren't really discounted enough to warrant me getting it right now, maybe in the next sale though (they may also be out of EA by then too). A lot of the AAA titles that were discounted I either already have (on PC or console) or just weren't my sort of thing.

So all in all, I came out of the Steam sale relatively unscathed.

Well, given I've a few games still to play through from last years Summer and Winter sales, and that there were few titles I was desperate to buy[footnote]And money was a little tight this month.[/footnote], I didn't spend much this time 'round.

At least, on myself. While I purchased some Sins of a Solar Empire DLC, Sins of a Dark Age, and Shadowrun Returns, I also bought a number of games for others. Notably: two copies of Project Zomboid, Sins of a Dark Age (4-pack), and a few copies of Terraria[footnote]At 2 bucks I couldn't resist picking up five copies for some friends who've yet to play it.[/footnote]

All told I walked away spending around $40 bucks. As well, a friend shared a copy from his Broforce 4-pack. So all-in-all it was a decent sale.

Still debating picking up Freespace 1 & 2, as well as Anomaly 1 & 2, Wolfenstein: TNO, and Halo: Spartan Assault, but those'll have to wait for the next sale. (and the completion of my back catalog)

Just DmC, Enslaved, and Walking Dead Season 2. I think I escaped from the SSS for under $30 this year.

On GOG, on the other hand... Well, actually, I think I spent about the same amount, I just got about three times as many games in the process.
