Ok, I've been sans internet for 15 days now and won't be getting it for a week yet, (I'm using my phone for this) and I've started getting the steam validation rejected message when I try to offline practice on tf2. Apparently this happens if the "dedicated server" (read "my computer") has not received the latest update from steam. Any ideas on how to fix it? And also, just out of curiosity, how in the name of all that's unholy does it know?
