Hahahahahahaha.... Please... Your insinuation that Steam doesn't already take all of my disposable income is laughable.

But cool app. Will be nice to chat with friends on the go, rather than being tethered to my PC.

OK... how could Steam possibly find a way to rob me more? Rob me when I am not near a computer. Steam robs you blind and makes you say thank you and worship it. In a way Steam is like the Catholic church was a few 100 years ago...

I'd heard people clamoring for this for ages, but I never thought they'd actually bother to do it. And yet two Christmases have gone by and still no gift cards.

Well, according to Steam's offical app page Skyrim is cross-platform and $14.99. [http://store.steampowered.com/mobile] So I really want to get in the beta for it.
Ha ha ha ha ha! Nice catch. I wonder if anyone's going to see that, think it's real, buy the game, and then go on the forums and ***** about getting "overcharged" for something that "doesn't work on my MAC" (sic).

...Who am I kidding, of course they will.

I'm not impressed if it's just the store page, I want to play my steam games on my phone! Peggle would be so perfect...

Funny, I've had this "app" for quite some time.

I had a bookmark of the Steam store saved on the home screen.

From the looks of this app, it does the same exact thing, except with access to your friends list (which I already get that from Raptr and it's mobile app).

I've always wished that if Valve actually did release something like this, it would have some sort of distribution service to buy and play certain games on my iPod, but I doubt Apple's draconian policy would allow such a thing.

EDIT: Oh, and it turns out this app is in beta. You can't simply just log in and go, you have to open up the Steam client on your PC/Mac and change your beta participation settings. Yay.

EDIT AGAIN: Upon further testing, it seems that it's in closed beta, which means you need
a beta key to even try the app out.

Or you could save the trouble and just go to the Steam store on Safari and hit "Save to home screen" and cut out all the bullshit.

I've been saying this should happen for years, but when you put it like this, I'm suddenly worried about my bank account....

pffft... Just remember people, you're giving 30% of the money to apple, if you can, always buy things directly through steam. Not a valve fan, but I prefer if they get the money and not apple.

Depending on your point of view (or your finances), this may not or may not be a good thing,
May not or may not.... I wonder what your opinion on the matter is? :p
