Because Steam Forums is a dangerous place for spoilers, can you please tell if they changed something so I can buy it?
I want to play the original experience.
Thank you.

Different in what way? If you are talking about the Jast version then apparently there are minor changes like slight text size change and minor translation errors.

Honestly I have never played the PC version (any version) I got it on PS3 which apparently uses the original Jast version but to be honest I dont know much about that. All I know is the PS3 version was a fantastic experience and is under half the price of the Steam version even with the steam promotion going so maybe get that version if you have a PS3 and want to save some money.

The Jast version is also available to buy from Jast USA website if you want that one.

I took a chance on Steins Gate bought it without knowing anything about it except it was a visual novel which tbh I dont buy hardly any visual novels even though I like stories and read a lot. Glad I did though and now I am eagerly awaiting Steins Gate Zero which is now quite possibly my most looked forward to game (even though its not really a game imo) of the year.

Did not even know it existed but will look into it so thanks for that. Looks like it is japanese only hmmm my japanese is pretty poor although I am not completely hopeless at reading. Would you say it takes an advanced level reading skill of japanese? I would guess I am of an intermediate standard.

I could always watch a lets play but would rather play it myself tbh.

lol I will check it out when I get some free time which may be a while but it will be done eventually. More Mayuri is never a bad thing or any of the characters tbh.
