theres no prof of the brilliant innovative drm being cracked, and the server crash only affected 5% of the consumers, and it was the European customers, who cares about those drunk cheese eaters.

I don't game on PCs so I don't really understand how bad DRM is. My condolences for all the hard working PC gamers that are up to their arm-pits in Ubisoft failure.

funny, but not laugh out loud funny. though it has been a while sense i have seen daikatana used in a joke. props for that. Along the lines of prediction, a lot of people here were waiting with bated breath to see what your reaction would be. =)

Only people still defending Ubisoft now are ones whose main job is "devil's advocate". Just how stupid would Ubisoft executives be to hope they'll damage piracy in any way or retain a single shred of gamer cred with that debacle?

I hope they lose mega bucks over this, I mean I've been pissed at them since Farcry 2.

Ubisoft claims it wasn't cracked -- is there some independent confirmation that it was? Not really interested in downloading mystery binaries to find out for myself.
Ubisoft's latest antics were so outrageously arrogant and ignorant, even my (casual gaming) girlfriend went into laughter.
And they won't stop, now that it's established that crackers "attack" the innocent servers.

Daikatana is just a joke on poor game design with a mix of confusing segmented levels, weapons that will just as likely kill you as your enemy, and numerous bugs. Although it is rather funny, if annoying, to get crushed to death by a wooden door. There's a Let's Play of it on the Let's Play Archives
