Or make sure someone in the party is a Cavalier, duty bound to not flee from combat unless they get below 0 hit points.

All I'm going to say is that a shotgun blast to the kneecap makes it very easy to outrun your teammates.

This is my usaul tactic when playing left 4 dead, just run away closing doors behind me , then get smokered .

I don't think that is the same story anymore. Lighting the tank on fire will just dwindle his health until he dies. This was added into the Xbox version I still don't know about the Computer version.

Oh I have, though I'm not sure why. The strip lacks humour, drama, intrigue or any interesting ongoing stories/jokes. It's also crippled by not exactly being pretty, especially with some horrendous text placement. I mean if Concerned can take a videogame and make a good comic with it it isn't too much to expect something a bit spanglier from this.

But I digress I'm overly cynical and this has a fanbase as far as I can tell

It was on both from the start they added it so people could kill tanks on expert without like 3 people dieing.

Also, I didn't know about the timer part. I just thought that it dealt damage to him over a period of time, but it would stop once the fire was put out.

Haven't had one tank I pyro'ed go out until he was dead yet. If ever he did go out and was still slamming his fists around, then I would make a serious attempt to outrun everyone to the saferoom. (But only then (same for the witch, but she is hella harder to outrun))
