Street Fighter V Beta 2 Tests PC/PS4 Crossplay

Let's finally put an end to the "console vs. PC" debate with some good old Street Fighting.

newly revealed fighters [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/street%20fighter%20v?os=%20street%20fighter%20v], but perhaps the biggest draw this time around is the testing of the game's much-touted "crossplay" feature.

From October 24-25, PC gamers will be able to download the beta client and finally settle the "console vs. PC" debate with their PS4 brethren. To play on PC, you'll have to have pre-ordered the game on Steam, and have your machine meet the minimum system requirements, which are as follows:

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 480, GTX 570, GTX 670, or better

Recommended:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K @3.50GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960

When the beta launches, Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika will be selectable. Rashid will be added in on day two (October 23) and Karin added on day three (October 24). The characters from the previous beta: Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash and M. Bison will not be selectable this time around.

Be sure to check out Capcom's official blog post [http://www.capcom-unity.com/combofiend/blog/2015/10/07/street-fighter-v-beta-2-details] on the beta to find more information on when and how you can access it in your specific region.

This is actually a realm where PC and console are on even footing (ANYbody who's serious about a fighting game on any platform is going to have an arcade stick of some sort) so it'll be interesting to watch the competition.

Hey now, there are quite a few EVO players using this...

Which is PC compatible :D (but then what isn't PC compatible, just keep throwing drivers at it till it works)

I plan to use my mechanical keyboard and see how far I get. Corsair K90 with MX Reds, bring it on!
Street Fighter is surprisingly easy to play on keyboard due to dedicated fingers on directional buttons.

Apparently this is the "fully realized" version of it called Hitbox:

I got my pre-order out of the way and my fight stick itching to go. Kinda bummed my main Chun-Li won't be playable but I wanted to try Necalli anyway so it's all good. Also I hope that Ibuki gets added to the roster at some point, though if she does I doubt it will be anytime soon.

I'm like 2GB RAM short on the specs for my laptop and I already preordered just to try out the beta... hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me :/

Also, I gotta get my hands on that MadCatz controller, I never knew it existed, this whole time I was just thinking of finding a Genesis USB controller and using that...
